Little Things

maira

I feel like I'm buzzing. And this may explain why I've found it difficult to update this blog lately. I've started writing a novel. About 40 pages written. This is all I'm going to say though, unless I want to have a very annoyed editor.

It started from an idea so small, so insignificant, I'm a little surprised about how this little thing became an all-consuming thing.

I've been doing a few other little things ...

... a great review of a conference I presented in here. The conference was entertaining, thought-provoking, sobering and fun. Everything a conference should be.

... piecemeal words from me here, if you're interested.

A novel? Wow. Is there anything you can't do?

*seething with envy*

Also, thanks for the link :-)

my father's writing a novel as well. ;) it was quite funny; we even did a photoshoot so he could place a photograph of himself on the back. he's using one of my paintings as front cover. :D So, if you ever need a cover designer.;)

A novel - wow. I am a bit speechless. It must be wonderful and overwhelming, all at once.
Lovely image, thank you for sharing it.

That is such exciting news. What a mountain you are about to scale! Good luck with it all.

(I have just scanned that very same Maria Kalman drawing, as well as a few other faves, for my blog. The lines "This is not morbid. Just epic" make me smile.)

thanks marie and sundari!

sanna: I can't do many things, envy is not necessary :)

daphne: ha, I'll let you know! Although authors rarely have control over the covers.

Jo: thanks for adding me :)

tywo and indie.tea: thanks!

gracia: that line makes me smile too.

katie and christine: i am very excited!

danica: I was a bit confused too, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. although i'm not sure I should have added yet another procrastination tool ...

Thanks ella!
