The Selby

Friday, 24 October 2008

I've seen The Selby mentioned on a few blogs, and I finally visited the website to see what it's all about. I'm glad I did because it showcases some lovely homes. One of the things I like most about it is the fact that these homes are real and "lived in" rather than the cookie-cutter homes I often see in magazines. These are a few of my favourites.

P.S. I've just received the most exciting news that approval from the University of Missouri Press has come through about publication of my work in a collection of critical essays on Feminism. I'm so thrilled because getting my work published in this collection and by this publisher is quite a coup. I'll update you guys accordingly and let you know when the book is out. Have a great weekend everyone!

And the houses you picture are adorable. I love eclectic, artsy and personal homes.

that stack of suitcases is to die for.... i saw a very similar pile (although all in blue) at one of the 'vintage' stalls at a market last weekend. shame i have not nearly enough money, so i have to stick to 'secondhand' stalls instead.
